Personal Loan in Chengalpattu Chengalpattu, formerly known as Chingleput, is a city and the seat of the Tamil Nadu State district of Chengalpattu, India. It was partitioned from the district of Kanchipuram. Like Pallavaram and Tambaram, the District has the largest cities. It is the district's headquarters and is 56 kilometers (35 mi) from the capital of the state, Chennai, on National Highway 45. One of the main railway junctions of the Southern Railway is Chengalpattu Railway Station, technically known as CGL, and is a nationally significant stop. In this district, Chengalpattu Government Hospital is a landmark and the largest government hospital. The hospital has a medical college of its own. The town has the district's principal court, and Dr. Ambedhkar Law College. It is assumed that the town was named after a lily called 'chenkazhuneer poo' that is abundantly found in the area. It is about 56 km southwest of Chennai City (Madras) on the Palar River, and so Cheng
